tuesday morning

7 am: fog.

bubblegum clouds against a pale blue sky
and the edges of the moon are
blurred

wispy like
the smudge on the
car window

frosted opaque except for the
words you traced yesterday.

and the horizon is orange now
as i walk into the fog

carried on a fragile
wind.

(Poetry Friday roundup here.)

amazing. I love the "frosted opaque" verse. And the last one. In fact, I love all of it!!! It's beautiful!

Lovely poem--I especially like:

and the edges of the moon are
blurred

wispy like
the smudge on the
car window

Unexpected imagery, and beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
