I forgot all about this! Normally, I don't read long bodies of text like this on my computer... but I couldn't resist this, so of course I had to read it.
Well, thanks for sharing. (:
Same as Julie (I thought I posted a comment before but I guess I didn't, because it is not showing up). :)
Julie- you're welcome. :)
Apoorva - that's weird, you did post a comment before... I wonder why it suddenly disappeared.
(This is a 6 month after the fact review, but better late than never I guess). I had thought for sure that City of Glass was the last book in the Mortal Instruments series, but I had been mistaken. Once the first Infernal Devices book came out, the tie in series to Mortal Instruments, I began to wonder, and then shortly there after I came across this and saw the release date for it. I was pretty stoked! I bought it day 1. I'll have to admit, it wasn't quite as good as the first 3 books in my opinion. However, it was still pretty good...
I'll have to admit, it wasn't quite as good as the first 3 books in my opinion. However, it was still pretty good...about on the same scale as Clockwork Angel in my opinion, though I'm hoping Cassandra Clare will up her game a bit more in the upcoming City of Lost Souls. I am just about to read Clockwork Prince as I write this review, so we'll see how it turns out. All in all, though it wasn't as good as books 1-3, this is still a really good book, and I highly recommend to readers of the 1st 3 books that they still continue on and read this if they haven't yet, as well as the Infernal Devices.
Thanks for posting thiis
